I think this is a great action research project! At the middle school I teach at we are making all kids in every core subject Pre-ap to get them "college ready." Is there any part in your study where you will look at if Pre-Ap classes truly do prepare kids more for college? We have found that by making all kids Pre-ap you are really making all classes non-preap. I look forward to seeing what your research finds.
